A study by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thure_E._Cerling">Thure Cerling</a> -&nbsp; biology professor at&nbsp; University of Utah &#8211; focuses the isotopes in elephant tail hairs for a greater insight into dietary habits and the endangering effects of human encroachment on the African pachyderms.
